Would You Try That?

There are hundreds of beauty products from different companies out there. Some that actually work and have a loyal following; others that aren’t worth a second glance. I must say, there are some wacky products out there (for a look at as-seen-on-TV products, check out Katie’s blog!). This post will look at some of those wacky beauty products. You can decide if you would use these products, or if they’re not worth your time (and money).
Mascara Shield
No more “Raccoon” eyes! Mascara Shield lets you apply makeup cleanly and evenly, without smears or streaks on your eyelids. Just position this handy shield beneath bottom or top lashes when applying mascara so it goes directly to your lashes, not your lids!

Neck Genie
A neck exerciser that takes years off your appearance! Neck Genie helps firm and tone your neck and chin for a more youthful look. The 2-minute-a-day neck exerciser uses progressive resistance to gently lift the muscles that cause sagging of the chin, neck and jaw as you age. Slim your neck without costly surgery, needles, or pain! Safe, easy-to-use device comes with storage case and instructions for neck exercises.

Nail Art Pens
Unique pen and fast-drying formula allows anyone to “Design & Go!” Create nail designs over any nail color. Fine-tip pen makes it easy to control and draw precise lines for a French Manicure. One reviewer suggests do not use on bare nails or it will stain your nails. Also, make sure your nails are dry before using the Nail Art Pen or it will ruin your manicure.

These are just a few products I came across. Please share your thoughts and if you have any products that we should try or stay away from!

  1. Sam!
I would totally try the "Mascara Shield" - although I don't find that my waterproof mascara streaks too badly. Unless its at the end of the tube and starting to get a little "crackly"...that's the only problem spot! Mayyyybe I would try a nail-art pen, but I just don't think I'm talented enough for all that jazz!

  2. I would like to try the nail Art Pens. It looks really fun and relaxing, especially when you are bored. the Mascara Shiel looks good too but i have my doubts about it.

  3. The neck genie kind of freaks me out, but I think that the mascara shield is a good idea! I think this because I have long bottom eye lashes and they always curl under and the shield would probably prevent this from happening which is great. The nail art pens have been out for a while now and I haven't tried them yet, but people seem to like them!

  4. This was a fascinating post! I do not think I need to use the mascara shield. The neck genie was just weird... and I do not think it would work. The nail art looked fun, but I'm not sure if I have the talent to make it look good. Overall, it was interesting to see a few of the new products available in the beauty world.

  5. There is something about that mascara shield that freaks me out. I don't like putting things so close to my eye! Interesting items though!

  6. I think I might try the mascara shield, it looks like a good idea.
I love to paint my nails, so I might try the nail art pens. But I don't think I'd be creative or talented enough to make them work very well.
As for the neck genie, I don't think I would try that. It just seems really weird, and I doubt it would actually work.
