Try This

Tips of the Week:

* Running late and don't have time to wash your hair? Use baby powder. Use a makeup brush or sprinkle it on your roots to soak up any excess oils. Or try Tresemme Fresh Start Dry Shampoo (about $4 at the drugstore)

* To get rid of any unwanted pimples, dab some toothpaste on it. Popular to contrary belief, it actually does work! Put it on before you go to bed, and in the morning, the pimple should dry out.

* Don't have a makeup brush? Use Q-tips! Just make sure you be careful to not get any of the fluff in your eye, it can be difficult to get it out.

  4. I will keep looking for more tips, and yes, I have tried plenty of them! I will indicate whether I have tried them or not.
Milica - I tried the baby power trick and its great. I just drape a towel over my shoulders so the powder doesnt get all over me.

  5. Great tips! I have actually tried two of the three when i'm in a bind and need an alternative. I was just wondering if you know of any homemade face masks that work? Buying them can be expensive and sometimes hurt sensitive skin.

  6. I've tried all these tips in the past and agree that they all work! I love that you're letting people know what they can use from around the house. Beauty products can be expensive, especially for students.

  7. I have tried the Tresemme Dry Shampoo but I wasn't impressed. I feel that it would work best for those with lighter hair, as when I tried it my hair turned grey and I looked like I had aged like fifty years. I have never tried baby powder before due to this experience. Is there some step I am missing that will allow me to use these short cuts without looking like I am 80?
